Bin cleaning in St Helens.
Bin and bin store cleaning across St Helens, Haydock, Newton le Willows and Rainhill, for housing, businesses and managing agents.

A short history
St Helens, then and now.
St Helens is the town of glass. Pilkington began in 1826 and grew into one of the world's largest glassmakers, and in the 1950s Alastair Pilkington developed the float glass process that is still used to make most of the world's flat glass. The World of Glass museum tells the story.
The Sankey Canal, opened in 1757, was built to carry coal from St Helens to the Mersey and is often called the first canal of the Industrial Revolution. In 1829 the Rainhill Trials were held nearby, and Stephenson's Rocket won. Today the Dream sculpture by Jaume Plensa stands on the site of the former Sutton Manor colliery.

Cleaning in St Helens
What keeps bins clean here.
St Helens mixes terraced streets, newer estates and apartment developments with logistics and industrial sites along the M6 and M62 at Haydock and Newton le Willows. Communal bin areas on estates are a common target for fly tipping, and warehouses and distribution centres run large commercial bins that need regular attention.
Fly tipping on private land
When waste is dumped on private land, clearing it is usually the landowner's responsibility. We can clear dumped items from bin stores and communal areas and clean the space afterwards.
Rats follow residue
Brown rats are drawn by food residue in and around bins. Washing bins and the floor of the bin store removes the smell trail that brings them in.
Distribution sites
Large sites with canteens produce food waste as well as packaging. Separating and cleaning food waste bins keeps pests away from loading areas.
